As of 23rd March 2020, the legislation pertaining to DIAS was updated. While the DIAS Standards have not changed, the legislation update has resulted in a few changes in how the scheme is administered. The main implication of the update is the need for LSPN holders to maintain the standards.
Practices must demonstrate that they are continually reviewing and maintaining the equipment and the policies and procedures that are followed by all staff – not just reviewing once every four years in time for accreditation review.
